I believe in a world where people can feel empowered to care about their own health from a natural, holistic and preventative approach.
I am fascinated with the concepts I learnt and experienced through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. This ancient approach describes Health as the balance of the flow energy, called Qi, in our body; a continuum flow that when imbalanced can cause diseases. Acupuncture corrects these imbalances and removes blockages caused by them.
Working as an acupuncturist gives me quality time to really listen and understand the whole person and their journey through life.
I was born in Barcelona and came to live to Cornwall in 2012. I qualified as a general nurse in Spain in 1992 and worked there for 15 years and the last 10 years in the NHS. I completed my training in TCM and Acupuncture in 2010 and now I combine my work as a nurse for the NHS with my acupuncture practice. I am also qualified in reflexology, quiro-massage and the Japanese Ito Thermie therapy as I see every person as unique and with specific needs and responses to different therapies.
When I’m not working, I like dancing, yoga, being with friends and swimming in the sea (when it’s not too cold!)
